600 with 4 radios

Has anyone tried using the 600 with a daughter board and 4 radios? I have been using the Gateworks 2348-4 with 4 radios and they work great. One radio is used as a client to backhaul and the other 3 radios are used as AP’S on 120 sector antennas. I have tried this with the Mikrotik 600 and they don’t play well together.

Any help or suggestions are welcomed.

Hi,

I maked this 2 times, but with some problems. This 2 times I had problems with the RB600’s.

Finally, for my experience, I think that 50% of RB600 can work with RB604 daughterboard and 50% no.

When RB600 and RB604 works well, you can use 8 minipci without problems, but you need more power input.


I recommend you that if you need to do this you tell this to your distributor and make him try the RB600 with the RB604.


It could be that I have no luck too.. xD

I think this boards are much more expensive than Rb600+604. : P

You can put routerOS there?

Yes, they are about $60.00 more than the 600.

On the 600’s that you got to work with 4 radios what radios were you using?
