hi fellow friends,
i am using mikrotik 60ghz devices for over a year now and i am very happy with them.
the last week i built a new connection between to roofs 733 meters apart.
unfortunately the connection drops every 12-18 hours and doesn’t come back up till i reboot the client-lhg60.
i am pretty sure it is a hardware issue as i don’t have a problem with a very similar setup close by.
is there any option to get a detailed log for 60ghz links?
the log for 5ghz is very detailed i’d like to see something for the 60ghz link.
thx in advance!
Hi,
What link are you using + RSSI in wireless / status
Also are you on the latest package and the router board firmware has been upgraded to match.
Thanks for your reply.
I am on the latest version 6.47.1 with the matching firmware.
I have an RSSI of about 60 i think and the rate fluctuates between 1gb and 2.3gb.
I used an 60ghz AP → Dish and Dish → Dish. The results are the same.
The Fresnel-Zone should be good although probably not perfect.
I switched back to 5ghz for now and it works flawless. (but slower of course)
The thing is: as long as you don’t have a connection the infos for bugfixing are non existing in Winbox.
We have a similar installation. The problems are the same. We returned to firmware 6.46.6 - the channel became more stable.
I had link quality problems with 6.47. Downgrading appears to have fixed my problems…

We also faced the same issue with ROS v6.47.1, now downgraded to 6.46.6 and issues solved.
Thanks
