7.21.1 [or some before] killed esim lte in chateau

I had 7.20.7 on chateau lte S53UG.

MikroTik Chateau 5G R17 ax,S53UG+5HaxD2HaxD-TC&RG650E-EU

Everything was fine, esim.

after upgrading to 721.1 - modem registered, but there was only some amount of tx packets, no rx. ipv4 did not receive address, ipv6- did received address.

Netinstall to 7.20.7 - everything works fine with same settings [cloud backup restored from 2025], upgraded to test to 7.21.1 [cloud backup restored, and even with clean install] - again, no LTE, NOCONN.

Back to 7.20.7 - works fine.

How could you do that to me?

all day lost, problems at work, remote job, no connection.

It's a known issue in the 7.21/7.21.1 release threads, reported multiple times.

Apparently a fix will be in the next stable version:
