After netinstalling (eg RouterOS 7.6) with a custom script, “/system/reset-configuration caps-mode=yes” or using the reset button to the same effect results in no configuration change.
Does the custom script need to be wrapped in a test of the global action variable, like the default script?
Has anyone else encountered this and found a fix?
Having the same issue on 7.16.1: did you get any lead Dan?
Were both RouterOS and wireless package included during netinstall?
Or wifi-qcom when it’s about an AX device …
Yes, totally! Both routeros and wifi-qcom-ac were included during netinstall. The auto-provisioning is going fine and the cAP XL ac (in my case) is completely usable through a standard boot. But if I use the reset button (or /system/reset-configuration caps-mode=yes) to get into caps mode, it just doesn’t work, and end up not booting in cap mode but in “standard” mode.
Anything in the logging?
Why version 7.6?
Happens on 7.16.1 for me. Will update with the logs in a bit.
Caps mode for wave2 only became available as of 7.8. So use latest stable.
