Hi,
I cant get my RB750G v4.5 to auto negotiate properly with Intel gigabit adapters;
Dell E6400 with onboard Intel 82567LM (Win7)
Intel DP43TF motherboard with onboard 82567V-2 (XP SP3)
If 750G ports are set to 1Gbps, auto-neg ticked, full-dup ticked, and either PC set to auto-neg, both sync at 10 Mbps half-dup. If I force 1 Gbps on the Dell it works at 1 Gbps full dup, while if I force 1Gbps on the mobo it syncs at 1Gbps for a sec, then disconnects & continues to cycle in this loop over & over.
If I put a D-Link DGE528T PCI (on auto-neg) in the mobo, it syncs no problem to 1 Gbps full dup with any of the ports/cables used above.
Is there some incompatibility on the RB750G with Intel GbE adapters, or is there some trick I’m missing?
