750g power problems

Hello all,

I have the above mentioned router. I have it on a UPS, but every once in a while it will lose power. I have to unplug and replug it several times to get it to come back on.

Does this sound like a power supply issue or a problem with the router itself?

Or perhaps do I need the higher amperage power supply: 24HPOW for this router?

Do you have a 12v500ma up to 12v1a wall wart with an “M” connector? Try that. The 24v power supply might be too much voltage. They shut down for that too.

I’ve got a 12v 1a. Not sure if it has a M connector on it, though.

UPS is used online?

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by that?

The UPS is new. It is powered and charged. Just there to do its job.

I checked last night and I have the lower powered 12v adapter powering this router. Should I try the 24v one? I read on another forum page that the 750g uses a lot of power, and under certain circumstances, the 12v is not enough power?

I have problems with English.
UPS should be without breaking the food chain.
