750GL Freezing

Hi guys I have a routerboard 750GL, when I issues ‘/system reouterboard print’ via ssh I get this :

routerboard: yes
model: 750GL
serial-number: 2Exxxxxxxxxx
current-firmware: 2.34
upgrade-firmware: 3.10

I recently upgraded the OS to 6.5 and I’m not sure if it since then, but now, whenever I pass heavy traffic through the router, and by heavy I mean pretty much anything other than bursty web traffic, the router seems to hang. No traffic will pass through the router at all, I cannot ping it, ssh in or anything, and it normally resolves itself within about 3 minutes.

Does anybody know of any issues? Could it be a faulty router? Or does anybody know how I could diagnose what is going wrong?

Thanks everyone.

Have you tried to upgrade to the latest RouterOS and the firmware ?

Thanks for that, I’ve checked and initally I hadn’t set any routes to the outside world, so I’ve set those and upgraded as instructed … I’ll post an update later if it has been resolved.

Thanks again.

It’s just bombed out on me again. I was streaming a movie from my media server the PC in my office. The movie froze and then the office PC stopped being able to access the internet.

Any more suggestions or things to try?

Suggestion: Update the firmware. Its under System – Routerboard
