Hi,
I want to replace my old tp-link router with 751G. The 751G is powered on with default settings, cable modem is pluged into port 1. Quickset shows IP and gateway address from the ISP but ping on other hosts gives timeout.
In the tp-link router I used to clone mac address to get it working. How to clone mac address in routerOS? What else shall I do get an Internet connection?

From the CLI:
/interface ethernet
set 0 mac-address=00:00:00:00:00:00
Replace 00:00:00:00:00:00 with the desired MAC address you want use.
We will have custom MAC address setting in Quickset in the next RouterOS release.
Thanks for advice, I got it to work.
Can you disclose when the next RouterOS will be released? I would like to decide wheter to wait a couple of days or downgrade the system. With the current version the RB is freezing whenever I disable the wireless interface and I have to do a power cycle to bring it back up.

honzam, that’s exactly the same version that I was using. I have downgraded to 5.14 but the problem still persists. Straight after disabling the wlan1 interface the whole system stops and I get routerboard disconnected message. I cannot ping the router anymore, I have to reboot it.
If anyone came accross a similar problem please let me know what are your suggestions. Thanks.
