760igs or 750gr3

Hello friends. I have a small server hosting company. I have something close to 7 servers where your users access via RDP and also FTP. Recently my router has reached the limit of released ports (12 ports). I need a router that manages at least 20 ports. . We use the RB750GR3 in some companies with their local servers. However I saw a RB760IGS HEX model on the internet and noticed that the hardware is very similar to RB750G3, which one is better? Thanks for listening.

Hello,
Main differences you can find in link below:
https://mikrotik.com/products/compare/RB750Gr3+RB760iGS

hEX S comes with SFP port, wider poe-in supported voltage range (also support 802.3af/at) and has poe-out option on ether5.

In “20 ports” do You mean “20 ethernet ports”? If yes, then Mikrotik doesn’t make it. But You could buy a switch and hook it up the router. With VLANs now could keep all these servers isolated from one another, and all it would take would be a switch and some config.

Yes, I know there are some CRS switches that can route. True, they can - but they are quite slow at this. We are talking about no more than 200Mbps of realistic routing speed. They are switches, that incidentally can route. Their switching speed is wirespeed, the routing speed is quite slow.
