Mikritik 2.9.30 (P4-3Ghzx2)with 2 LAN (intel 8590 PCI-X) and 4 VLAN on first ether and 4 VLAN on second.
On high load i have low bandwith between VLAN (all VLAN)
do i need L3 switch with 1gb ports ?? or i can stay with my router ?
Could you specify what do you mean by
“high load” and
“low bandwidth” ?
“High load” - when we have traffic 400-500 Mb on uplink VLAN, routeros show cpu load 80-86%. Ping are stable between VLAN, but speed decreasing.
tell me please - what difference between L3 switch with “WIRE SPEED ROUTING” and RouterOS routing (on Xeon PC with Gogabit Lan) ???
