with a XR9 installed on a 133c, running 3.0rc7 when I go to see what bands are available, this is what i see:
[admin@MikroTik] /interface wireless> set wlan1 band=
2.4ghz-b 2.4ghz-g-turbo 2ghz-10mhz 2ghz-5mhz 5ghz-10mhz 5ghz-5mhz
2.4ghz-b/g 2.4ghz-onlyg 2ghz-11n 5ghz 5ghz-11n 5ghz-turbo
[admin@MikroTik] /interface wireless> set wlan1 band=2ghz-11n
bad band and/or channel, see 'wireless info' for supported channels
[admin@MikroTik] /interface wireless>
now I am not surprised it didn’t let me set a XR9 to operate in 802.11n mode, but I am rather surprised to see it listed as an option.
does this mean that if any of us can actually get our hands on a 11n card, it will work?
