802.1X, RADIUS and rate-limit per user options

Hello,

  1. As the post title say I am interested in way to rate limit 802.1X wireless users via RADIUS options.

I am building a large scale Hotspot solution and while this is easy to do with a captive portal and open wifi access, I am interested in also having a different SSID with 802.1X based login (call it thinking about Hotspot 2.0 in advance).
However, during my limited test, none of rate limit parameters seem to affect the 802.1X authenticated user which narrows my service package options to just time and/or traffic volume options.

  1. Would be nice to have a way to exclude some traffic (ie. local ip tv streaming) from the 802.1X/EAP RADIUS accounting, but I don’t see how. Any ideas on workaround solution, refunding free traffic somehow etc?
