80MB with 1TCP Connection, 200Mb with 20 TCP Connections....only Ethernet

Hello,

we have a Link

RB1000—CRS—MT-MediaConverter—10kmFiber—CRS----Alcoma6km----CRS----Alcoma4km—CCR

All Links are Gigabit Full-Duplex.

When i made an Bandwith-Test with max. 1 TCP Connetion from RB1000 to CCR, then only 80Mbit/s was reached, with 20 Connections are 200 Mbit/s reached.
Why?
What can be the Problem?
Alcoma-Links are licensed Links. There are working on 320 Mbit/s (radio).
The CRS hat 6.30.2 installed. The Ethernet-Ports are all configured as an slave Port from the other (no bridge).

Do not use bandwidth-test, for CCR testing it is limited to 1 CPU core -
use trafficgenerator:
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Performance_Testing_with_Traffic_Generator

or iperf3 http://software.es.net/iperf/

ok. this is clearify. but why are more traffic with more connections?
Should it than not be more ore same traffic with one?

This is how TCP works with parallel streams.

Hello kristaps,

when i make an LAN Cable direkt connection between 2 RB1200 , then BW-Test with 20 TC Connections are ~250Mbit/s, with 1 (one) Connection TCP are same (250 MBit/s).

Please tell me, where there is an TCP Paralell-Stream - Problem ?

with or without routing is wurscht !
