in rural portugal you are lucky if you get a stable 10m

- 4K represents 20% of global TV sales
- Netflix will launch in October in Portugal, Spain, and Italy
Another related datapoints I should have mentioned already:
Youtube recommened upload bitrates, H.264 (which they will deliver in the more efficient VP9 increasingly):
- 4K60: 68Mbps (no livestreaming)
- 4K30: 45Mbps (no livestreaming)
- 1080p60: 12Mbps (maximum 9Mbps for livestreaming)
- 1080p30: 8Mbps (maximum 6Mbps for livestreaming)
