900mhz issue

I have a client that I get 69 transmit and 69 receive but the thruput is only 500k receive and 300k transmit. Pings are also erratic 3-100ms. There is a lot of 2.4 garbage in our area. We are running 2.9.42 on rb112 with sr9, 10mhz channels, 9db yagi antenna. I would have thought that with signals that good that I could easily do 3 or 4mb.

It is odd, that when I do a scan I cant see any of the 2.4 traffic.

I have other 900 systems but they are not in a nearly as noisy area as this system.

Is there a way to see how many packets are being retransmited?

Would upgrading to beta3 help with any of this problem?

I understand that the sr9 is only a sr2 with a converter for 900mhz. Will 2.4 garbage interfere with thruput that much.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check and see what your ccq is. I have found when it is below 50 thruput is terrible. I like to see ccq above 75.Also try going back to a 5mhz channel, I have had good success with many clients able to get 2k throughput with this. Good luck!

see what your noise floor is..also why would you expect to see 2.4 stuff @ 900mhz?

also, try setting to 2.4ghz-b, and try turning on compression on both sides..

what are teh CCQ #s? what part of louisiana?
