951Ui 2HnD strange wifi noise

Hello!

I just received a new RB 951Ui 2HnD this week and I noticed that when the wifi is on, a strange noise comes from the board. I recorded the sound and uploaded here in this topic. This is really normal or my RB has some problem?

Just rename the RB951_noise.doc to .mp3 please.
The sound starts at 0:22 after put the power cable.

I upgraded the routerOS to 6.35.2 and the firmware to 3.33 and the same thing happens.

Doesn’t sound normal to me.
Can you RMA the board ?

Hi, i am on mobile so cant download the sound but i had some wireless noise as well on 951G. Do you have “silent boot” checked in routerboard settings? I had problems with that - with checked it put 3.3V directly on beeper and any power line noise was transduced to audible noise by the beeper.

The problem was in the board. A new one was sent to me and is working fine now.
