a bug in V6.15 - modem Leds won't work

hello
when I use the modem-signal to turn on the leds:

/system leds print
Flags: X - disabled, * - default

TYPE INTERFACE LEDS

0 modem-signal led1
1 modem-signal led2
2 modem-signal led3
3 modem-signal led4
4 modem-signal led5

the LEDS are working (I have manually try them)
it doesn’t work, my signal is -71 dBm
but if I downgrade to V6.10 - it’s working
it that an known issue? can it be fix?

I can confirm this, the behavior was introduced with ROS 6.14
Happens here with Metal series and 951 series.
Support is aware of this in ticket 2014061166000499.

It seems that the LED settings need to applied twice.
Running our initial setup scripts won’t set any LED functionality, then manually importing those lines again makes them work.

what do you mean twice ?
I have remove them and them apply them manually-but still doesn’t see them
I have done reset 2 times

what else?

Well, that’s basically it.
At least here it works with applying them another time after the intial config.

I have remove and config it 3 times already - still I get no leds on
my signal in -65 - and no leds are on…

so I think this is a serious problem!

I will ask support and see what they say

Hello David, for the rest the routerboard works OK?

You use USB or miniPCIe modem?

I’m using miniPCIe modem

if I downgrade to V6.10 (with the same configuration it’s work)

and yes - from what I have seen so far and the staff I use , the rest of the routerboard work fine.

the support told me It will be fixed in the next RouterOS version.
