Hello.
I have several MikroTik OmniTIK U-5HnD. I want to create mesh network using them and connect labtops. Labtops don’t have any wifi routers. Labtop1 —eth— OmniTIK U-5HnD - - - mesh wifi - - - OmniTIK U-5HnD —eth— labtop2.
So, firstly i creaate mesh using this guide http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Wireless_WDS_Mesh
for each router
1 Create security profile
2 add mesh interface
3 set for wlan wds mode:dynamic mesh, set wds default bridge
4 disable eth2 as bridge port
5 add wlan and eth2 to mesh ports
6 set adress for mesh interface 192.168.88.1/24
as a result I can ping any router from Labtops, but can’t ping labtops from routers or from other labtop/
Please, help me and say my mistakes.
