Hi,
I am running a very small WISP with some customers that are connected all year round, and others that are only connected during the summer.
I lock the latters one out by disabling them in the access list, but one customer, using a NanoStation2, has not switched off his equipment. The NanoStation very persistently tries to connect and is deauth’ed every time, filling the log with meaningless entries - two every second.
Is there a way I can get the MT to skip this messages?
There is no such option to hide specific MAC-addresses log on MikroTik router, but you can use syslog server to manage logs, in the Syslog this option should be possible.
i would allow it to connect and then just disable their access. having it attacking your AP every second is probably a lot less efficient than just firewalling them until they come back.
Thanks, I have disabled him in the Access List, but again, the connectrion attempts show in the log.
Or did you have some othe disabling in mind?
