a simple HotSpot configuration

Hello ,
I want to make a very simple free HotSpot -
only a picture of my company.
all the person need to to is double click on the picture and then he get homepage (of my choice).
this is all. no password ,no user, nothing.

I understand that I need to change the Login.html file.

where can I found how to do this. or get help in the way?

Hi,

you can edit the login.HTML file of /files. (if you don’t see the files, create the hotspot with the wizard, select the hotspot in ip/hotspot/servers and click on “html reset”)

Add the image with the link AND ADD THE DESTINATION WEBPAGE TO IP/HOTSPOT/WALLED GARDEN.

You need to create the hotspot clicking on the wizard button.

Hey ,
still no good -

  1. I get the mikrotik hotspot gateway-and he want user name and password
  2. he didnt put my picture , or the wabsite I told him to show

what I did wrong?

I have a Hotspot user called david - and no pass needed.

Create a single user and make invisible user/password in the html, with th user/pass created filled in the html.. Then, yout picture will be the action button of your form.

You have to play a bit with the login html, but its possible.

This is what I wrote in the login.html

TEST WIFI

thank it’s work almost 100% - but I still have 2 major problems:
1.I see the IP that I give him - and I dont want to see it. ( I see on the URL 192.168.1.222/login@dst=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F).
2. I can’t work on smartphone(android, Iphone, Blackberry) , only pc work for me. - why is it?

Go to: Ip/hotspot/server_profile and FILL “DNS name” with, for example: wifi.blabla.com and you will see http://wifi.blabla.com/login…

If it works for PC, it should work for mobiles..

I did what you told me with the DNS - Thank you!
but still cant go online from cell phone(iphone , android …) any idea?

why? you see the login page? or what?

I get the picture - and when I press it , I get it again and again.
like something is missing.

but when I use the computer - it’s all good

Perhaps something not compatible with Safari or the browser on the mobiles.
