a variable speed depending on the time ?

Hi everyone …

i using pppoe server .Mikrotik OS 3.22

i created 3 profiles :

  1. 128k up / 256k down
  2. 256k up / 512k down
  3. 512k up / 1024k down

these limits from 12.00 pm to 01.00 am
and from 01.00 am to 12.00 pm all users in default in simple queue .

my question in :
i need to make 3 limitations times per user or profiles Automatically.

example ..

128/256 from 12.00 pm to 16.00 pm >> then change to 256/512 from 16.00 to 20.00 pm
then >> 512/1024 from 20.00 pm to 01.00 am

Hi,

you can make a script to enable or disable the new speeds by time, BUT REMEMBER that if a user is logged in, this user will continue with the speed activated when the logging process was taken. Then.. you may need to change the profile speed and “kick” your users to relog in your server.

you can add time settings to the queues/mangle/firewall. In winbox go to advanced tab and see time sub-menu.
