Here’s a strange behavior I can’t find an explanation for.
I have a 900Mhz AP, 532-A with a XR9 running 2.9.50
22 Clients, 18 of them are 133c, XR9, ROS 2.9.50
4 of them are 411, XR9, ROS 3.13
Every couple of hours, all 4 of the 411 CPE will disassociate and re-associate at exactly the same time. The 133c clients remain associated for days on end.
There is nothing remarkable about the 411’s signal strength or ACK or configuration. All clients are in the -58 to -72 range with 40-55us Acks.
I wouldn’t think much about it if the 411 clients renegotiated every so often due to the ROS version difference, but how can they do it simultaneously?
simultaneous is unusual, however we have had an issue with rb’s that we upgraded to 3.x.x but never updated the firmware. give that a whirl.
Maybe the AP sends some sort of signal or, since they all connected at the same time, maybe some counter runs out.
Why don’t you just upgrade to the latest ROS on everything?
