This could in turn be used in web proxy as caching drive etc…
This will enable you to have a single NAS (Network Attached Storage) device and use that for caching on standard routerboards.
If you want that much web caching capability, use an external machine with appropriate hardware and software. This would give you a great router and a great web cache device and you wouldn’t have all your eggs in one basket.
True, this is what i am currently doing in a way, however it would still be nice for flexibility.
