I upgraded my 2011UiAS-2HnD to 6.42.7
Afterwards i wanted to add extra packages. I just dragged the lot into winbox and rebooted.
After reboot, not all packages where installed. Log says omitting dhcp package since it exist.
After i deleted the dhcp package file out of the files folder and rebooted, extra packages where installed until it hit an existing package on which it aborts.
Never had that in the past. Anyone seen this too??
The packages that are in base package, can not be removed (but can be disabled). Likewise they can not be installed again from separate source (e.g. package files). Fix is not to drag&drop packages that are already installed. If the package is installed and disabled, just enable it.
It used to be possible to install already installed packages, but this lead to problems during upgrades.
