About monitoring devices and alarms

Hello,
We’re monitoring our Mikrotiks with Nagios. I wanted to know which values (from the parameters being monitored) can be considered as ‘alarming’.
For example, we have this warning:

Ram : 70%, Swap : 51% : > 70, 80 : WARNING

but, are those values in Mikrotik really alarming? In other words, can we elevate the treshold for our warnings to, for example, 80% for RAM?

Usually it depends on value of RAM, but 80-90% should be correct threshold (especially when average load and used RAM is 30-50%).
