hellow to all
i read some characters of the product above .i read the following phrase
Nv2 TDMA technology help to achieve even 200Mbit real throughput speed.
if someone use this product as access point/bridge..how many the maximum users can connect at the same time with this access point without proplems in internet .let’s say if all these users open youtube or massenger at the same time .
need answer because many persons ask me about this very important feature..
You should define what is a problem for you. If you mean to get everyone that named speed then that reported speed is point-to-point speed. As you add stations the messier it will become and you only can dream about that number.
The SXT is more an CPE (client unit) or can be used in a PtP configuration.
To use it as an AP is a bit strange. First because is has directional radio beam, secondly because the routerboard has limited power. (CPU power that is, not radio power.) You should never forget, all standard radio’s like we use in wifi are making links where radio of the unit (client OR AP) can only do one thing at the time. Send or Receive. So if the AP has several clients to serve he needs to share his time over all these clients.
If you ´hang´ several client units to an AP the AP does not only have to pass traffic from them, he also has to be the traffic controller. Every client has its turn to send and receive and to inform the clients codes have to be send between client and AP each time client has its turn to communicate. So this will add up to the overhead (useless data in regard for the end user) thus the throughput goes down.
Now this all goes very fast but the more clients and the more traffic the more the AP has to arrange.
For AP that has more than only a couple of clients it is better to use a more powerful board like the 433 or 433AH.
The given 200Mb real tcp throughput is only if the SXT has nothing more to do than send and receive traffic or where this SXT is connected to such a powerful AP that the AP can serve this SXT with such speed! (Exceptional case!)
Not to mention the RBSXT only has a 10/100 ethernet port. So while you could use a pair of them to get 100Mbit Full-Duplex, in a single direction you will never get better than 100Mbit.
