This is more a question for the mikrotik engineers, the CRS112-8P-4S-IN has a limitation of 1A @ 24VDC and 0.45A @ 48VDC,
I think this is more a software limitation than a hardware limitation, so the question : is can it do 1A on 48VDC ?
and if it is a software limitation, can you then make a high power 48V setting, so i don’t have to set POE to forced
Perhaps the DC plug will melt if i draw to much power, but that can be fixed with some soldering.
i Guess i have to do some abusive testing to find out what the real hardware limitations are for this product.
testing power limits per port and also in total, and if it fails it time for some hardware modifications.
