AC 1x1 MS7 MS8 MS9 speed test results (what to expect)
I just performed some connection rate & bandwidth rate testing. I thought I would share the info.
The three results posted below are using Mikrotik 1x1 (not-mimo) - using 80 MHz wide (Ceee)
MSC7 1x1 AC Connect-Rate=325 Mbps-80MHz/1S/SGI btest UDP send (10-second-averae): 260 Mbps
MSC8 1x1 AC Connect-Rate=390 Mbps-80MHz/1S/SGI btest UDP send (10-second-averae): 271 Mbps
MSC9 1x1 AC Connect-Rate=433.3 Mbps-80MHz/1S/SGI *btest UDP send (10-second-averae): 337 Mbps
If you use 2x2 mimo - then 2x the above numbers
If you use 3x3 mimo - then 3x the above numbers

I ran these tests because I am considering using a set of soon-to-be decommissioned DS3 12-foot-wide 48-db dishes already aimed at each other at 21 Miles ( 33km ) apart. I’m thinking about using some Metal 52 AC for the electronics. ((( later when some 1x1 160 MHz wide stuff comes out from Mikrotik, then I will upgrade again and then try to achieve a 1x1 866.6 meg connection.))) .
