Hello,
I’m using 2.9rc7(8?), and am having a problem with wireless MAC authentication. It seems that after rebooting the AP, a wireless client cannot connect if it is simply in the Radius server, the client must be in the access list. If the client is only listed in the Radius server, the AP sends the request to the Radius server, and receives an accept back. It then does connect the wireless client, but just briefly. It then disconnects the client, saying that it disassociated because a “class 3 frame” was received, whatever that is. If the same client is listed in the Access List, the client connects just fine, and stays connected.
Here’s the fun part:
If I have the clients in the local access list, they will connect. After they have connected one time, I can remove them from the local access list, and they will continue to connect just fine from only the Radius server, even after several cyclings of the AP wireless interface. As soon as I reboot the AP again, the clients will not stay connected from Radius until they have connected once through the ACL first. Again, after the initial local authentication, Radius MAC authentication will work just fine until the router is rebooted…
I haven’t created a supout file yet, as I have more tests to do, and wanted to see if anyone has seen this happen before. Also, the Radius server is set not to send any attribures back besides an accept, but I also tried to have it send a few attibutes back with the accept, but it made no difference…
Thanks for any comments or advice…
