Hello all,
This is really challenging for me.
I have multiple public IPs assigned from ISP, but I need to “redistribute” them with Mikrotik to client routers (which will holt the actual public adresses)
(It’s necessary the cliend will holt the Public IPs on there client routers, so no port forwarding.)
For better understading let’s have this example (all IPs are public)
ISP’s gateway (1.1.1.1) <1-------1>Mikrotik(1.1.1.2) <1------N> multiple client routers with WAN ports set from 1.1.1.2 - 1.1.1.10
The easiest way is just use mikrotik as switch, but I need some basic control over the traffic and ports (like shaping etc.) so I want to configure Mikrotik to route the traffic from internet to routers and back and also allow specific public IPs on specific ethernet interfaces of mikrotik.
For example:
Interface2 will only accept the router with IPs: from 1.1.1.2 to 1.1.1.5 (client’s router has multiple public IPs assigned in this case)
Interface3 will only accept the router with IPs: 1.1.1.6
Also how I can set the right routing between ISP’s gateway and the clients routers?
Could you elaborate with this please?
Or just point me to the right direction. I have no clue right know how to achieve this.
Thank you very much in advance for your help ![]()
