Hello all
i set up a hotspot network for a hotel
i create 2 dhcp pool the one is for the guest 192.168.86.1-192.168.86.254
i create another dhcp pool for vpn 192.168.85.1-192.168.85.254
at the vpn pool i assign all the APs with static ip for example i set up an access point with the ip 192.168.85.21
The problem i have is that when i connect with vpn to the mikrotik network i get for example the ip 192.168.85.4 is all ok but i can’t access the Access Point web interface for a reason it doesnt show me anything on my browser
I am new with mikrotik and i don’t know if i am missing a setting
Any help will be appreciate
Best regards
Are you trying to connect your AP’s over VPN ? Or do you try to connect the users who access the AP to route them out over a VPN connection.
Im struggling aswell but im not sure we are trying to achieve the same; http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/make-a-wifi-ap-dedicated-connected-to-a-vpn-connection/86684/2
Hello micromaxi thank you for your reply.
Actually i would like when i connect to the mikrotik hotspot to manage the APs . The hotspot doesnt allow me to access to the Access point web interface and i must conect the pc directly to the access point to do this
I am bringing this post on the surface since i havent find any solution yet.
I set the Access points which are connected to the mikrotik router at the 192.168.85.0/24 subnet
The Hotspot of the router is set to give ips at the 192.168.86.0/24 subnet.
When i am connected with the hotspot and i have for example the ip 192.168.86.23 i can;t access to the ip of the Access Point
What i should do to be able to manage my access point while i am connected with the hotspot?
