I want to create a wireless bridge with two routerboards…each with the Atheros 5211 cards. One is in Bridge mode and the other in Station mode. According to the documentation, I should be able to set the Access List on both routerboard with the other’s MAC address. However, when I do so, I lose my connection. Both routerboards have their respective Wlan cards Default-Authentication set to NO while Authentication is set to YES in both Access lists. Then only way I can get connected is by setting the Default-Authentication in the Station routerboard to YES. Is this the correct method or is something wrong?
