Access mikrotik from internet

Hi, this is my first post, don’t be hard on me.

I want to access my home network via mikrotik. Currently I use mikrotik as an AP.
I don’t have fix IP address from my ISP.
Mikrotik is not my only router, my main router is from my ISP witch is has DHCP and PPPoE

In my router I found XXXXXXX.sn.mynetname.net and i made VPN enabled with username and password.
I tried to make an VPN connection but it didnt work for me.
Do I need to make some forwarding on my main router?

An initial guess is that you’re going to have to do some port forwarding on your main router to direct traffic to the Mikrotik. As for the dynamic IP address, dynamic DNS (DDNS) might help. Your main router may have an option for DDNS but you’ll need a DDNS server - there are free ones but I use NoIP which isn’t expensive. Not used it but RouterOS also has a DDNS client in it.
