Hi,

i am using RB532 series router. i am planning to implement wifi access points across the office campus. is there a way to use the same authentication password across the access points without the need to authenticate while connecting to other access points if already authenticated with one

Not sure if i Understand you correctly

but if you save a profile about connection on your PC and if your PC will have to reassociate (to same ESSID) it will use stored profile.


However its Client-Driven. if you find a client dev that have to re-authenticate again you have to do it

Instead of running hotspot on each access point, you can have a master hotspot controller that all the access points go through.

i do not want to connect to a hotspot as this wifi i want to use only in places where wired network is not available. i just wanted all the access points to share the same profile, something on the lines of what a repeater does.
