since a year now. i have a routerboard installation successfully rolled out with openvpn. today i tried to upgrade from 6.5 to 6.13. Well, there is one RB2011-RM configured as the server and 2 RB750 configured as clients. Also from time to time i am using the vpn link to administrate the boards and all the stuff behind it from a windows 7/8 OpenVPN Client.
So far just one of my client RB750 came up. after i upgraded it to 6.13 before. Good, the other one is still 6.5 might be that i ve to make an upgrade to the clients first. Well, i ll fix that with an emergency fallback dialin later.
But the worsest seems to be that i lost contact to the main router (RB2011-RM). Everything behind the router seems to run. But the router is not configurable from VPN. Winbox as SSH is not responding. From one of the local networks is it.
It is important to have access to the RB2011-RM via Winbox from OpenVPN like it did run before at 6.5.
Has anyone a clue what has changed with 6.13? What do i have to change to gain access again? I did not change anything. except of upgrading the firmeware with droping the npk to the winbox and rebooting.
Yes my remote OpenVPN access does not work since after 6.8. Hopefully I had also an SSTP setup. In 6.7 sstp was broken… With ROS updates it’s an hit or miss everytime.
It may be related to certificates and encryption changes that were made around that time. I got a TLS failed error.
