I have a hEx S router in a dual WAN with failover setup.
For the 1st WAN i have a PPPoE connection and for the 2nd WAN i am using a 4G modem which i would like to be able to access so that i can login to its web setup page from my LAN.
Right now i can only ping the 4G ip from the hEx S router but not from any other LAN pc.
Can somebody point me in the right direct on how to approach this?
You quite probably need a src-nat rule for connections from LAN towards 4G modem because 4G modem knows nothing about gateway to your LAN subnet. By configuring src-nat all those connections will appear to 4G modem as if they originated from router with which it can communicate directly.
Yeah, that worked, added a nat rule with src-address of my lan range and dst-address the modem wan range, action masquerade.
