I have the following setup
LAN ——————— Router — DMZ.(hEXs 2025 router —— RB260 ———— ONT
192.168.1.0/24 192.168.88.0/24 192.168.99.0/24
Accessing DMZ, where the hEXs resides is ok, as is traffic from the LAN to the WAN.
I want to administer the RB260 web gui from the LAN, how can I achieve this?
As the device is running SwOS, the only way is create a trunk on the uplink port and configure a management vlan.
Simply set up NAT rules on hEX to access the RB260.
Nothing in the initial description is clear,
so it's impossible to be more specific.
I don't see VLANs anywhere, and VLANs aren't required to access the configuration.
The solution was to use a vlan for switch management (vlan99). The stumbling block, no internet access, required a vlan 1 to be setup and assigned to the router and ont ports on the switch. Normally, this is not a requirement.
