Accessing lan devices over l2tp vpn

Hello, i have a CRS326 with l2tp vpn configured on a different subnet than my lan devices, and i can’t access them from the vpn clients. I have tried everything i read on the other 800 forum threads about the same subject and i can’t get it to work. If i use the same subnet and proxy-arp i can’t connect to lan devices also.
i also have an ikev2 connection configured for my android device and from that connection I can correctly ping and connect to lan devices. I ran out of ideas about what i am doing wrong.

did you enter the masquerade on the VPN subnet?

We aren’t mind readers but from that I assume you are talking about a windows VPN connection and you don’t know how to choose the gateway … aka ticking the box that says “use default gateway on remote network”

I have ticked “use default gateway” on windows. Furthermore, i have the same problem with an iphone using l2tp. I tried using masquerade but there is a chance i did it wrong, how would the rule be exactly?
