Accidentally loaded V6.2 on unsupported RB111 router.

Ok, so like an idiot I did not read the instructions properly, and loaded the unsupported V6.2 onto an RB111 board. The board is no unresponsive. I have tried to connect to the board using netinstall and an ethernet cable, but can not get the software to see the board.

I do not have a null modem cable at the moment to try to connect through the serial port.

Can someone tell me if there is a way to connect using the ethernet cable? Or is a serial connection my only option here.

Is there any option besides netinstall?

no, there is no other option, however, you could be able to restore your configuration (it might be intact) via netinstall.

Thanks for that. I finally got it to boot off of the Ethernet port on boot up. Now I have a seperate issue, guess i will start another thread.
