Accidentally tried to upgrade mipsbe on powerpc

I accidentally sent the upgrade package 6.23 mipsbe to a RB600 (which is powerpc). As a result, I can’t access the RB.

This routerboard is in another city and I’m going there tomorrow morning.

Since it was a huge mistake, I have some questions about that:

1 - Is there something I can do to solve this problem remotely?
2 - Will turning the routerboard OFF and ON solve the problem?
3 - Should I take another RB to replace this one?

Thank you in advance!

RouterBoards will refuse to install packages or upgrades for the wrong architecture to themselves. You cannot harm a RouterBoard by accidentally sending the wrong architecture’s upgrade package to it. If you try, it will simply reboot and there will be an entry in the log that says it didn’t install the package because it was the wrong architecture.

So if you did this, and then rebooted it, and the RouterBoard didn’t come back, it’s not because of the package you uploaded to it. There is some other reason it did not boot back up, and it probably would not have booted back up anyway if you had rebooted it without uploading any new software to it.
