I have a problem with ACK storms.
The boxes sends out a lot of ack, and all the boxes starts to answer thise ack
packets at once, and the system goes down, anyidea what can be done ?
What kind of ACK would that be?
ACK storm problem seems to be happening in our net, when the client is
running streaming or at least long tcp/udp connections. We have not
found any solutions to the problem, but we have reduced them. By
seperating frequencies as much as possible, and we have removed or
improved clients with low signal strength.
If it’s wireless ack’s you are referring to; Tried increasing the ack timeout on both sides of the links?
If it’s tcp ack’s you are referring to; Try tuning the settings. Might be a SACK issue.
