Hi,
as i understand if i have PPPoE and static ip it is better use “action src nat” and to address set to my Public ip address and src address will be the ip of my internal ip adress range and
like to know if i have an 2nd ISP with modem connected to my rb4011 using DHCP should i use action src nat as well or masquerade as intented fdor VoIP trafic … and to adress in case of action src nat se to ISP modem GW that is 192.168.1.254 in mexico or keep using Masquerade that is what it is for.
the question arises becasue i have stabilty issues with VoIP phones keeps the dead or zoombie link even if PPPoE link goes second ISP takes over but call will not re establish within 5 minutes unless i tear down all connections like 10 times in a row until i finally get al upp and runningh or connecing back the PPPoE link ..
Like an trust worthy method to keep my VoIP phone working even if wan fails and comes backup after some time and keep working without my intervention.
data part work good with my recursive failover and routing rules so no problema there but VoIP is an headache.
Thank you
