I want to activate the user in local hotspot after the user is expired in UM.
Like:
I have user “test” in the UM for 30 days.
After 30 days the user “test” will be expired.
I also have created the same user “test” in local hotspot but disabled.
After the user is expired, I want to enable the local hotspot user “test” automatically.
Is there any script to do that.
Not possible, via UM. Once the user account is expired, there is no mechanism in UM that can enable the local user. Perhaps with some scripting , maybe its possible. But I am not sure.
What is the goal exactly behind this idea? If you share it , maybe someone will give you any workaround.
The goal behind this idea is to redirect the expired users to account expiration page.
I have set the all local users to redirect to the account expiration page.
So, When the user validity is expired, he/she will be redirected to the account expiration page.
I used your blog to redirect users n its working fine.

I am using this for both Hotspot and PPPoE but I need script to enable the local hotspot and pppoe users.
I am doing it manually now.
