I have bought a mikrotik RB750r2 for learning.
After booting it, I have disable DHCP and NAT. I have connected directly two computers to two interfaces and configure IP adresses.
Every computer is in a different network (192.168.25.0/24 and 192.168.6.0/24).
Computers have as adresses 192.168.25.1 and 192.168.6.1
Routers’ interfaces have 192.168.25.254 and 192.168.6.254
The gateway is well indicated for each computer
Every computer can ping the two confugured interfaces of the router.
The router can also ping the two computers.
My problem is that computers are unable to ping each other. What to do?
If these are Windows devices, their default firewall blocks pings repies when on a different network. For Windows devices not in an Active directory anyway. Disable the Windows firewalls temporarily and try again.
