I have a licensed link backed up with a 5GHz link using active backup bonding. The problem is that if I use mii, if the licensed link goes down, it does not failover to the 5GHz link. However, if I switch to arp, the failover works correctly but drops packets and will drop the connection.
Any idea why mii doesn’t work correctly or why arp drops packets?
Here’s the layout if it helps:
CCR1 -----> Licensed LInk -----> CCR2
|___> Ubnt EdgeMax → 5GHz ___|
The 5GHz link is being powered by the EdgeMax switch. There is a VLAN on the switch to a tagged vlan on CCR1.
