I think Mikrotik’s maniac and funs is not ‘stupid’, but forget about license has limited. 
when you have made success pppoe system..etc, that mean mikrotik ‘advanced’ features and you are ‘clever’. to make more mikrotik’s advance many true argument and logica must knows and try.

Uhm… I don’t find the answer to my question inside your message (other than that I forgot to add something related to PPPoE and UM in subject/topic)…
I also don’t understand if license limitation means that one can not have more than 10 simultaneous connections active sessions to UM (like 10 different users) or that number of overall connections can’t pass 10 like when I log on 10 times and can’t log on any more??

I think, you will more clever, when success marrige userman and pppoe interface.
Here, we used ‘userman’ as radius-server for centralized AAA Hotspot and PPPoE with one phisical nic interface. ok, leave about limitation of license, ofcourse you understood about that. when you want ‘userman’ as [radius-server] centalized ‘AAA’ of pppoe server, maybe this solution for you and assumsy you has ‘userman’ installed on your system, i think just make ticket from ‘ppp’ profile:
1. add route for pppoe from 'userman' web-interface
2. add radius-client with service 'ppp' at '/radius' submenu
3. disabled or remove all users at '/ppp/screet' submenu
4. enabled for centalized AAA at '/ppp/aaa' set enabled=yes
5. add users from 'userman' web-interface
6. add ranges ip for supply your client at '/ip pool' submenu
7. do, make pppoe dialer at user client with windows or pc-mac
8. good luck..!
i think with 7 tickets above you will success with centralized AAA networks.

- I can’t remove all curent users from ppp/secrets before I make UM work!!?
Now, let’s go back to the licensing issue … how many users / sessions / active sessions can I have with L4 ??? unlimited users, unlimited sessions and just 10 active-simultaneous sessions ? Btw, I have several active pppoe sessions (ppp/secrets) and NONE via UM 
Of course, that’s what I thought… Still I don’t understand why UM “thinks” that I have “more than 10 sessions” when there is NONE
Look in the usermanager status page - probably there are some sessions still active.
Nope, there are no active sessions and UM says there are 6 active users (which are disabled!!)…
There must be something wrong with UM - it worked for few days “like a clock” than I added second wireles miniPCI card, and, since than, nothing. Could it be some power failure?? How do I “reset” active sessions (and what the hell are active users?) in UM?
It is true that I have 20+ users im ppp/secrets but, at this very moment, there are only 4 active pppoe sessions… If I put the wrong password, then look at the log, it says “invalida password for user…”; and with the good password : “current license allows only 10 sessions for user ” ---- and I just created the user !!!

many thanks for your interesting about it, i think with above postes is more libraries. cos last time i did like you,… very confuses and i got ‘userman’ centralized AAA hotspot and pppoe for, by myself with little support and didn’t find solved in forum, just read short manual ‘userman’ as radius-server.
