hi a have a problem, im running mk 2.8.12 and i want to add a ppp dial out using serial modem, but my mobo just only have 1 serial port so i add a new add on pci to serial using chipset from netmos Nm9835CV but it seem mk didn’t recognize my new serial card. any one maybe have the same problem can help me?

You need to add a serial card that uses one of the standard serial port addresses (3F8, 2F8, 3E8, 2E8) for it to work. Most of the PCI serial cards use a non-standard address and have to have a driver loaded for them to be recognized.
