Adding UPS via USB

I’m getting error: Couldn’t add new UPS - Unable to initialize USB device report (6)

Any ideas?

I am also having this same issue and it is driving me crazy. Is it possible that APC has changed something in their firmware?!
Here is what my device shows up as “Back-UPS ES 550G FW:843.K4 .D USB FW:K4”

Jordan

Looks like mine is a bit different - Back-UPS ES 550 FW:843.K2 .D USB FW:K2

This seems to be related to the ROS 5.20 update, and as well the ROS 6.0b3 release.
My UPS “was” working with ROS 5.19.
There are a few threads here detailing complaints, but as of yet no Tik response one way or another.

Oh, well…add it to the break/fix pile :frowning: :frowning:

I supose I could downgrade for now, but I fear losing the new POE monitoring of my 750UP’s.

Smooth…

Works in 5.17. Thanks for the info!
