All the address list do is add a bunch of ip’s into lets say a folder.
Then you can use your firewall and mangle rules to affect only the items in the folder.
You can use firewall rules to add ip’s in the list.
Your timeout field can be lets say, 1d or 6h for instance.
When the timeout reaches 0, it gets removed from the list.
