Why does 192.168.100.52 not show in the ping window?
/tool ip-scan does not just ping. Primary action is ARP request. If ARP is answered, then other requests follow - ICMP, SNMP and NBNS
Many devices block ICMP by default but not many block ARP which is essential for IP protocol.
you can try to run arp-ping and you will likely see a response.
